Authenticity -- We value truth in
our relationships and challenge ourselves to share both our strengths
and weaknesses with each other. We have found that the truth is what
sets us free from shame and fear.
Courage -- We want to be ever
expanding our comfort zones and actively leaning on Christ to take us
into deeper levels of trust. As long as we keep to familiar places, we
do not have to look to Christ for strength. We want to support each
other to actively step through our fears and in doing so experience
Christ.
Discernment -- We believe it is
important to be able to tell right from wrong and good from evil, and
then to make wise decisions based on that information. As we pursue
positions of leadership, the members of QE1 want to grow in discernment
of God’s truth so that we are equipped and prepared to make prudent
decisions that glorify God.
Intercession -- The House of
Elizabeth wants to practice prayer: praying for each other, our school,
our city and the nations. We believe that prayer is powerful, and we
want to grow this spiritual discipline in each of us.
Individuality -- We recognize that
each of our members has been given certain gifts, and we want to
encourage each women to embrace her gifts and continue to actualize her
potential. We want to be unified, but still maintain our diversity.
